Stop Before Your Op

Being admitted to hospital is an ideal opportunity to stop smoking!

All patients will be offered stop smoking support whilst in hospital and on discharge.

Stop smoking treatments are available to most smokers who experience uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms during their hospital stay.

If you are an inpatient, you can ask your nurse/doctor to refer you to the service or call us directly - the Stop Smoking Advisor will make an appointment to come & see you.

The smokefree law means that it is against the law to smoke inside any public building, this includes hospitals. Herefordshire Group of Hospitals operates a smokefree policy.
